Wedding Trends - The McWedding

I read an article today about an interesting new wedding venue in Hong Kong-- McDonald's.  Turns out the fast-food king is now offering budget engagement party and wedding services overseas.  Guests are served burgers and fries, stacks of apple pies make up the "cake", and toasts are given with milkshakes and soft drinks.  It's an interesting concept, especially in contrast with the more formal local wedding traditions. Some couples say that it allows them to enjoy their wedding day more than they would have during a traditional wedding, while others aren't quite buying it.  I'm all for creating a wedding day that fits your style and personality, but I'm not much of a fast food person myself.  What do you think?  And will this trend make it to the US?
