Each year, switching to Daylight Savings Time throws me off. During the switch, we're inevitably in the middle of something that doesn't really lend itself to losing an hour of sleep-- vacationing, visits from in-laws-- things you don't really want to be tired for. Now that I'm recovered, though, I'm absolutely loving the extra hour of daylight in the evening. It's perfect for shooting sunsets, and all of our local parks are now open an hour later, which means we can even go for a short kayak paddle in the evenings. Hooray!
So, this week's diamonds go to....
- Daylight Savings Time. That extra hour in the evening means we get outside more, and don't eat dinner after dark!
- Caramel-flavored coffee. A delicious way to kickstart those blustery, tired mornings.
Coals to....
- Daylight Savings Time. Somehow, losing that hour always seems more painful than it should be.
- This weather! Can't it get all the rain out of it's system in one shot, instead of two weeks of on-and-off storms?
Have a great weekend, everyone!
